A trash poem I wrote

it's that time of year going back to thee,
for this is the first day of term 3.
you may not be prepared you may not be ready,
for this is the final time to hug your stuffed teddy.

Letter

I didn't know what to post so...

Dear dad,
This letter is to thank you for without you I wouldn’t be in this beautiful country of
Aotearoa. You are an amazing role model and I hope for you to live a plump life.
your sacrifice to do long hours were selfless acts of courage and I hope for them to
live on. Thank you so very very much. Your kindness didn’t go unnoticed. Your
positivity didn’t go ungratified. Your long hours didn’t go unrewarded. Your hope
didn’t go unwanted, your honesty didn’t go unrespected .Your help to our family really
boosted our morale.Without your help we wouldn’t be eating every night.Your extra
time spent working is why we have the things we have.We would be scrambling for
money without your wisdom. I built my foundation on your humility and I will build my
children on it as well.

Yours truly Reece Griffiths

Quick Write

I wake up to a odd smell in the atmosphere.
I wonder into the kitchen to investigate
Flames Fall as a circle sluggishly starts forming.
My skin melts like a lit candle I feel the temperature rising.
Adrenaline rises as I run through endless blazing fires to a once new door frame.
I run as fast as a cheetah hunting his prey.
Sirens blare and lights flash, they rush to me on to a chilly bed now covered with ash.

The meaning of having someones back

What does it mean to have someone's back To have someone’s back is very simple you just have to be loyal. Whether they’re your friend you should have anyone's back regardless of the conditions. It still doesn’t mean you don't tell on them when they’re in wrong though.

a short story about a magician :D

short story about magician

Mike was a very weird light coloured kid, he grew up in a hot poor neighbourhood but had managed to master the art of trickery, he also had the fastest sleight of hand anyone had ever seen, he could move a card from one hand to another in less than 200 milliseconds, the only thing stopping him from being a magician was the family curse, every time he entered the competition he immediately failed and would blame his no good grandpa.
Paragraph 1
It’s the afternoon and Mike is walking down to the local dairy, when a mysterious hole
suddenly appeared right in front of him, a chill goes down his spine as he slowly  grabs his emergency flashlight, he shines the bright red light deep into the hole and stares down into the dark abyss
Paragraph 2
Mike curiously hauls himself down the gaping hole, sweat rolls down mike's tiny forehead as he goes down further into the dim dent in the ground, mike cautiously grasps a hold of a root, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa mike screams as his foot slips out of the crack in the hole, was this destiny or was it all his no good grandpa’s fault
Paragraph 3
Mike was screaming for help as he accelerated down into the void while he also wonders why the hole is so deep, splash!!!mike fell into a gigantic pool,”hello is anyone there”mike’s voice slowly echoes on the cave's wall.
Paragraph 4
a loud hissing noise echoes back. mike carefully investigates where the voice came from, mike gulps it’s the undead mummy that his grandpa would tell him about in his stories, but where was the ancient guard I anxiously thought. A loud crashing noise echoes through the distant valley.
Paragraph 5
Mike hastily ran towards the mummy and desperately tries to smash it with his flashlight.
Humongous footsteps approach him, as he rips the stone out of the mummy's chest,a hot bright light beamed from a distant tiny rock. But what the ancient guardian that killed everyone who tried to steal the stone was no smaller than a twig.
Paragraph 6
I laughed in hilarity as it blew its horn which sounded like gigantic footprints denting the ground.
It then ran at me with its tiny little sword, i could out maneuver it and ran threes times as fast as it. Mike chucked the stone at the small guards shiny armour then he quickly ripped it out of the guards hands.
Paragraph 7
The guard wasn't so tiny anymore it grew to almost one hundred times it original size.
“Crap” mike whispered as he ran from the gigantic terror of his family. He then pulls out a gigantic sword from his armour, i was surprised he hadn't gotten stabbed by it. The giant slices through the rocks around Mike to show Mike how sharp it was.
Paragraph 8
Mike quickly hatched a plan he waved at the giant which was distracted by a butterfly at the time, and chucked the gem directly at the blade of the sword. The giant collapsed into a gigantic storm of dust and made the whole rocky cave shake.
Paragraph 9
Mike enters his final magician competition and faces up against his worst enemy vladimir .
Vladimir shows the crowd his crowd pleaser and everyone gasps in surprise his trick had failed
After all those years of practice and he wonders off into the light blue sky without his trophy.

The end
